Season 1990/91
Manager Jim Henderson added a number of new faces to the squad during the close season, goalkeeper Rab Beveridge came from Armadale Amateurs, young midfielder
Kenny McCormack
from Whitburn Bluebell and striker Roddy MacDonald from Bridgend Amateurs. Ex-Boness United and Linlithgow Rose man Lex Miller also put pen to paper.

The League Cup draw saw us grouped in a tough section which included Armadale Thistle and Linlithgow Rose and, although it wasn't enough to see us progress to the later stages, we did secure a surprise 3-2 win at Prestonfield with goals from Brian Fleming (2) and Martin Clouston. The league campaign started badly with only two points coming from the first six games. Indeed, our first victory wasn't put on the board until November at struggling Haddington Athletic. The league campaign was, on the whole, very disappointing, although we did manage an unexpected double over eventual winners Bathgate Thistle.

The Scottish Junior Cup offered a welcome distraction from the toils in the league and, after comfortable wins over Aberdeen Lads Club and Bishopmill United, we provided one of the shocks of the tournament by defeating a strongly fancied Beith side 2-0 at Murrayfield Park, the goals coming from Roddy MacDonald and Steve Mahoney. The run of success came to an end with a bump however when we were over run by a new Tayside Junior outfit - Tayport, in their first season in the Juniors. The game was an angry affair and the club ended up being fined £300 (and 50p!) by the SJFA for crowd disturbances after the match.

Season 1991/92
During the close season Alec 'Kitty' Dunnigan made his return to the club, taking over from Jim Henderson, and he was quick to delve into the transfer market. Among his new signings were Stuart MacKinnon, Joe Murray and Damian Byrne (all from Loganlea Arsenal), Fraser Craig from West Calder United, Alan Tait from Bathgate Amateurs and Jamie McCormick also made a return, resigning from Stoneyburn.

A fine win and draw against Linlithgow Rose saw the side manage a respectable second place finish behind Armadale Thistle in the League Cup group stages. However, the league campaign was once more eratic, with as many defeats as wins recorded come the Winter months, but we did manage to post a club record victory in an 8-2 win over Pumpherston in October.

The Scottish Junior Cup threw up a home tie with Dalry Thistle and after passing up several good opportunities to win both at Murrayfield Park and in the replay, we eventually succumbed in the second replay at Benburb. Our league form though, did begin to pick up with seven wins from eight matches early in 1992, helped by the signings of strikers Graham Bruce and Jim Davidson in February. This also coincided with a run to the semi-final of the Peter Craigie Cup as we recorded excellent wins over Whitburn, Linlithgow Rose and Bonnybridge before Livingston United sneaked through to the Final on a penalty shoot-out.

Any hopes of promotion were dashed with a poor run-in which saw only seven points gained from our last eight games, although we did record a remarkable 6-3 win at Dalkeith Thistle in our last game to make sure of a top six finish and scupper the Kings Park clubs expected step up to the top division.
